Figgy Farm, West Sussex
From £368 per night
Overview
Following extensive refurbishment, ‘Figgy Farm’ has been lovingly restored to a truly flawless finish.
This bright and spacious home was originally two buildings, a Grade II listed cart house and thatched dairy barn. The two have now been elegantly united, linked cleverly by a stunning glass walkway, offering an abundance of natural light.
The interior is a calming blend of modern luxury with rustic undertones. Old hay forks adorn the walls, and many of the barns original features have been carefully preserved, revealing exposed brick and flint walls, and beautiful oak beams.
The open plan living area, with floor-to-ceiling windows, is ideal for intimate gatherings. In the summer months, fold back the double doors and make the most of the idyllic countryside location. In the depths of winter, the underfloor heating, which runs throughout the property, keeps the space wonderfully cosy.
The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, featuring a large range cooker, and a generously sized dining table for 8. Should any member of the party need to escape the hustle and bustle for a moment, they’ll find a further open plan living space with a kitchenette at the other end of the barns.
Step outside and you’ll find a private garden, with uninterrupted views of surrounding farmland. Perhaps you’ll even be tempted to dine al fresco. Figgy Farm offers a BBQ and a relaxing outdoor dining area, to while away long summers evenings.
Comfortably accommodating six adults and two children, Figgy Farm is also pet friendly, meaning all members of the family are made to feel at home. You’ll discover three charming ensuite king size bedrooms, two of which boast a luxurious free-standing bathtub. There’s also a mezzanine tucked away, ingeniously designed as a sleeping loft with two single beds, accessible by a ladder.
Figgy Farm provides the perfect setting for a blissful country escape with friends and family.
